30 Days of Gratitude (Free Printable)

I love this time of year.

The weather is cooling off, and we can do more things outside.

Several holidays occur, and we get to spend time with family.

The spirit of giving is in the air, and we often focus on the things we are grateful for.

Every November the kids and I do 30 days of Gratitude. We’ve done it a little different every year.

One year we just went around the circle every day and verbally shared a gratitude.

Another year we kept a journal, and wrote down a different thing every day.

Last year I made a gratitude book for each kid with a daily prompt on the cover. They could write or draw something that went along with the prompt. I got the idea here.

This year I found a different gratitude challenge. Every day I write the prompt on the white board in the kitchen and we talk about it at some point during the day. The prompts are a little out of the box, but I’ve been enjoying the kids’ answers.

I also came across this gratitude photo challenge that looks fun. I’m going to save it for next year.

I’ve be participating in Rachel Hollis’s Last 90 Day Challenge. Part of that challenge is to write down 10 things you are grateful for EVERY DAY. This has made me be more aware throughout the day of the little things. Stuff like getting in the van and seeing that the gas tank is full. And an evening walk with Jonathan. And a freshly made bed with clean sheets. And my kids coming to talk to me after getting home from an activity. And finding clothes when shopping. And watching funny videos.

I have also been participating in my own gratitude challenge. I found a list of 25 journal prompts that allow me to practice writing about things I’m grateful for. It has helped me focus on gratitude a different way.

I have been doing several 30 day journal challenges over the last few months. The prompts help jump start my brain that is still getting used to writing.

Because I’ve been on this kick, I decided to create a gratitude challenge for you. Just click below to access the download.
