Faithful Inspiration–10 Days of Inspiration (Guest Post)

Beth Moore

Beth Moore is a Christian woman who was pivotal in my life when I was recently divorced.

Upon ending a temple marriage of my LDS faith, I found myself clueless about the journey ahead. I knew one thing for sure: I needed to draw closer to the Lord to better learn His will for me during this difficult and trying time.

I remember looking to my own church for insight in how to handle the pain and anguish of divorce, but I could not find very many resources. My church did not offer a divorce recovery group like other Christian churches did.

I discovered other Christian authors who wrote about faith and hope after divorces. Though their writings I found a lot of healing and learned more about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Beth Moore was one of the authors that impacted my faith and made me a better follower of Jesus Christ. She is a preacher and a writer of many books on Christian topics. Her ability to build faith and promote Christian principles really hit home for me.

I am a very devoted follower of Christ through my religion – I’ve never been inclined to leave it. I have only become more enriched by how other Christian churches have the same goal as my religion and simply go about it in different ways which serve the same purpose. I am much more open minded in learning from all aspects of Christian faith enriching my life with wonderful women of faith.

Here’s a little bit about Beth Moore from Wikipedia:
