8 Quotes that Inspire Me

I love a good inspirational quote. My journals are full of them from conferences I’ve attended or podcasts I’ve listened to or books I’ve read. I love to share them on Instagram and Facebook or write them on post-it notes and stick them on the walls and mirrors around my house. I want to inspire others and myself with the ideas encapsulated in the quotes.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Our challenges make us strong. They are what make us who we are so we can do what God has called us to do.

Just last week, I was exhausted and ready for bed, but I hadn’t done my weekly planning. Jonathan knew that I wouldn’t go to bed without doing that prep work because I live by this quote. Stuff needed to be done and it got done even though I didn’t’ feel like it.

I like this quote for two reasons. One reason occurs especially after I’ve read about people being mean, and I’m reminded that not all people are mean; there is good in the world. The other is what is highlighted in pink–I need to be the good that people see.

This quote is a good reminder that we have options–there are a lot of different ways to look at events.

We all have bad days–that’s normal and to be expected–but we can and should look for something good in every day. I love keeping a gratitude journal for this reason.

The principle in this quote is powerful! Doing the little things everyday will create big results. You might not see the daily progress, but trust in the process and keep doing the work and you will eventually be rewarded.

This quote helps us think about vision. When we know our end goal, the decisions along the way are a little easier to make.

I think this quote helps us face the fear of failure. We can fail at something we don’t want and something we want, so we might as well fail at the thing we want.
